The Human body is a wonder to behold.

Soft yet firm, it carries us through life and in the end we discard it. 

Are we the sum of our molecules ? 

In this series of paintings I attempt to explore the idea of the body

as a vessel, as a container of the Id inside. 

What do we see of the person inside when we view the outside packaging ?

Do we bring more to this than we care to admit ? 

With a nod to the great masters of old I attempt to capture the feeling of the
