Paramount
A new series of paintings from Yen Comer-Hudson, brought together the feeling of the old with a nu school attitude.

Beautifully realised in stunning oil paints, this series evoked the days of splendor and lust.

DECKED OUT: Started Saturday October 11th 2008,.. the show ran for three weeks.

It was going to be a first to have an exhibition split between two venues so people could venture between the two. With Manky Chops upstairs at 166a Cuba Street and ALC Headquarters downstairs at 162 Cuba Street.

With a huge range of different artists from all over New Zealand submitting skateboards including NZ Music celebs, Wellington icons, kids, well known established artists [including yours truely] and skaters. ALC had some of New Zealands best tattooists submitting decks and their instore tattooist Ali tattooed one of the deck pieces live at the opening. It was a fantastic community event involving everyone.

Deffinatly worth checking, this one was AWESOME!
